Why the failure angle

Most guides are written as instructions. Do this, then this, then this. That is fine until you are actually playing, where the thing you needed was a warning. The mission that spikes in difficulty. The collectible you can never get back. The money you spent on the wrong thing in hour two.

So every guide here is built around the mistake, not the checklist.

How we handle facts

The GTA rumour mill is enormous and a lot of it is invented. Fake unlock schedules, fake file sizes, fake prices. It spreads because a confident guess looks exactly like a fact.

Every claim on this site sits in one of three buckets, and we label which.

• Confirmed. Rockstar or Take-Two stated it, and reputable outlets carried it.
• Reported. Coverage is consistent across reputable outlets, but we have not read the primary source ourselves.
• Unknown. Nobody outside Rockstar knows. We say that rather than inventing a number.

If we get something wrong, the page gets corrected rather than quietly deleted.
